Freedom Ride Florida 2016

About Freedom Ride
Freedom Ride Florida is the first organized bike ride in Hardee County Fl. Our county has hundreds of miles of quiet paved roads for the cycling enthusiast and we believe this ride will demonstrate that. More importantly, Freedom Ride Florida is the annual fundraiser for Pioneer Village, a family restoration ministry that takes no government money, doesn’t charge for it’s services, and has no paid staff. 100% of our working capital comes from the generous donations of people and businesses that believe in what we do and 100% of the donations go to accomplish the mission of family restoration.
About Pioneer Village
Pioneer Village is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is family restoration. It’s purpose is to provide a place for broken families to work through problems caused by addiction and destructive lifestyles. Putting joy back into the hearts of children whose lives have been torn apart is goal # 1. Pioneer Village is a 25 acre farm with an old fashioned general store, horses & carriages, vegetable gardens, a fishing pond, a petting farm, and a one-room log cabin for family visitation.
With the help of this Freedom Ride, more log cabins, a one room church/schoolhouse, a working cane mill, an enlarged petting farm for the kids, a hay barn, and other infrastructure improvements will be built. These will help us provide the distraction free and relaxing environment for the families to reconnect.
None of the family members in our addiction programs ever pay a fee for the time they are here. We take no government money and we teach the families to not rely on the any government agency for their sustenance. We teach them biblical principals on parenting, marriage, financial responsibility, and provision. We teach them about the dangers of co-dependency and enabling. Their is never an addict without an enabler and the enabler usually comes from within the family.
Destructive lifestyles and behaviors are often passed generation to generation, but with your help we can stop that destructive behavior one family at a time.
How You Can Help
Freedom Ride has a $40 entry fee. Entries received by the deadline will also receive a commemorative T-shirt and drawstring backpack. This is our annual fundraiser for the Pioneer Village and we would like to encourage you to share our story and mission with your friends. Not everyone can ride but most people can help. Anyone who gives a $100 donation to Pioneer Village, whether they ride or not, will get an entry into the door prize drawing. If they would like to give more, they will get one entry per every $100.
More than two out of every three families have been touched by some form of addiction. Most of them would like to help others avoid what they have suffered through, but they don’t know how. Tell them about Pioneer Village. Give them the opportunity to sow into a place that is working to stop the horror they went through.
Special sponsorship opportunities are also available. Two $10k sponsorships to build the 2 remaining log cabins and six $5k sponsorships to build the one room schoolhouse/church are available with permanent recognition attached to the completed structures. Please call our ministry office for more details or to talk to our ministry leadership about the projects. 863-773-0523 or 863-245-1184
